The Hemsley's are almost ready
For Christmas... I try not to stress over everything that needs to be done and enjoy the true meaning Of Christmas. I am excited the for kids this year at Christmas... Especially Hudson! He saw Santa last night at the Hollingsworth family party and he wasn't quite sure what to think so when he sat on his lap with a deer in the headlights look he spits out first thing I want a gun. It was so funny. Brystol wasn't quite sure of Santa. I am so grateful for the Christmas season and the time of giving!

Wow! Well I don't even know where to start. Brystol is four months now and Hudson will be two in January! It is so crazy how fast they grow. Hudson is a great Big Brother to his sister and a big helper. Brystol loves watching her brother and laughs at him all the time. She is such a great baby and is such a funny little girl always smiling and blowing bubbles. And she loves to tell stories and play with toys. Hudson is a funny little boy and loves Woody, Elmo and Curious George. He is very excited for Christmas and loves playing in the snow. Channing and I are keeping very busy with everything. We are very blessed and we are grateful for so much.

Introducing.... Brystol Lynn Hemsley

Our sweet little Brystol came to us on August 2, 2010 at 6:34P.M. She weighed 6lbs. 10oz and was 19inches long. We are so happy she is here with us. She is healthy and such a good baby. Hudson loves her and gives her lots of kisses. He is going to be a great big brother! I am doing good and recovering well from my c-section. Channing is the best husband waiting on me hand and foot, making meals, laundry ect. He is also a great dad making sure Hudson is getting enough attetion and cuddling with Brystol when he can. We are so happy to be home with our little girl and trying to adjust to being a family of four. We couldn't ask for anything better!

Lagoon!

We went down to Lagoon with the Hemsley's a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun! We swam in the morning at Lagoona Beach and it was overcast and the water was freezing but after lunch the sun came out and it was so nice. Then in the afternoon we rode rides and it was very toasty. Hudson was so tired and was not feeling very well, but he rode a couple rides with Riley and he had fun. It was a great day!

We went up Green Canyon with our friends Jamie and Russ Madsen for a cook out. It was so much fun and we made tin foil dinners and made some biscuts over the fire. And once again Hudson loved it and found a way to be a little boy and find the dirt. He also managed to find the middle of a fire pit and he came out black. But he loves it and that is all that matters.

We are sp lucky that Logan has a nice pool and we are so close by it. Hudson has loved going swimming this summer and he is not afraid of anything and loves to dunk his face.(Although he swallows gallons of water) He is our little fish! Hudson loves to go down the slide and it goes pretty fast too. We have loved going to the pool at least once or twice a week and our families have came down and went with us too. In this next month before the baby comes we will be getting lots of pool time in.

So if you all haven't heard or figured out we moved(yes I know again, but Chan promised this is our last stop until he finishes school)to Logan,UT. We love it here and everything went really quick and fell right into place, so we know that this was the right move for us and this is where we are supposed to be at this time in our lives. Channing got a job at Schriebers Cheese Company as a forklift driver at the distribution building and he says he can't complain at all. And the benefits are SUPER awesome and we are so grateful for his job. Oh and another positive is the cheap cheap cheese, yougurt, cream cheese and sour cream we can get now. He will start in the fall at USU taking classes and he is really excited to become an AGGIE! And I am going to brag on Chan for a minute this last spring semester at CSI he got a 4.0 and both semesters he went there he was on the Deans list. I am so proud of all his hard work! Hopefully he can keep it up here at USU! Hudson is getting so big and is a busy little bee and always on the go. I can barely keep up! He is learning to much and is becoming quite the little jabber box. He loves to be outside and has a ball in his hand everywhere we go. Hudson is so much fun although keeps us on our toes and there is never a dull moment. We are hoping he is ready for his new baby sister in about seven weeks. I scheduled my C-section for August 10th and we are down for the count now and I am trying to get everything ready to go. I am getting very nervous to think I am going to have two kids but it is all very exciting. The baby is growing very well as I am growing very well too. I am glad the weather has not been to hot yet but I know it going to get very hot and I am not looking forward to that. I love being closer to our families and grateful for all their help with Hudson. It is going to be a great summer!

Easter 2010

This was Hudson's second Easter and Chan had to work so when Hudson woke up I showed him what Easter Bunny brought him and he was so excited about his new basketball and new shoes. He wanted to go outside so bad to play basketball, but the weather was freezing outside. He loves to watch us throw the ball in the air and bounce it. And when grandpa came up that Friday he was teaching him how to catch it. Now he sticks his hands out to try to catch it. He also got a new swimming suit, church outfit and a new Baby Einstein book that on the very front page it has a banana and he will point to it in the book then point to the kitchen. He loves bananas so much that is all he wants to eat and we have to hide them from him. We have to be careful when we say the "B" word. I also enjoyed conference weekend and listening to what I need to do to better myself each day. There were some great talks and how we need to strengthen our families. Hudson loved listening to the choir sing and he would see the choirester and copy cat what he was doing. It was so funny. When Channing got home from work on Easter afternoon we had a great Easter dinner and spent time together as a family and went for a walk. It was a great day and I am so greatful for Channing and all of his hard work for our family!

Our friends Josh, Heidi and Jacob came down a couple weeks ago on President's Day. It was so fun to see them since we hadn't seen them since the summer when we left Philly. We took them to some of the historical sights of Twin ,out to eat and just hung out at our house. I felt so bad though because Hudson was getting his molars so he had a high fever and didn't feel very good the whole time. I wanted him to play with Jacob, but he just wanted to be held.(Poor little guy) So if you are curious why Hudson isn't in any of the pictures he was sleeping in the car and we didn't want to bother him he needed to sleep. Thanks for coming down to see us Wible's! We had a great time and hope to see you again soon!

Laurie and Sawyer came and stayed with us on their way home from girls basketball state in boise. It was so much fun to have them and we went to Shoshone Falls and it was freezing but it was so beautiful I love going there and each time we go I love it even more.

Okay I am sorry this is a disgusting picture, and I am kind of embarassed to put it on but it is a funny story. Channing was getting Hudson ready to go bath and undressed him in his room and was letting him play while the tub was filling and ran the garbage out for me really quick. Well when he came back Hudson left a surprise on the floor for him. He was just glad he didn't squish it or try to pick it up. We were laughing so hard and just couldn't believe our sweet little boy would do such a thing:)

I can't believe how fast time goes by. Our little Hudsy is one! His birthday was on January 30th,but with school and work schedules we went a couple weeks early down to our families to celebrate. We had two celebrations one at the Jensen's and the other at the Hemsley's. He ate lots of cake(I think to much because he was a little sick), opened lots of presents and got all the attention. Thanks to both of our families for helping us celebrate Hudson's first birthday! We love you all! On the day of his birthday we went and ate at Chilis and then went to the CSI Cowboy Boxing Smoker which he enjoyed then got sleepy towards the end. Hudson is the happiest little guy, loves hats(especially trying on all of Chan's hats with him),playing with the volleyball and basketball,reading all of his books,playing with his farm toys, taking baths and playing with his bath toys and of course going outside. He is walking and now starting to run all over and he is a cruiser for sure. He is so much fun and we couldn't be happier. Hudson brings so much joy into our lives. We are so grateful for him...We love you Hudson and Happy Birthday!

1000 Springs Resort

This last weekend we went swimming at the 1000 Springs Resort in Hagerman with our friends Cordell,Melissa,and Grace Perkins. It was so much fun and the water was warm and Hudson had a great time relaxing in the tubes. Hudson and I are taking a swim class together and it starts this week so this was great to get him ready for it, but he really had no interest to kick or splash so the class might be interesting. It was a beautiful drive over to Hagerman also along the canyon, and they said the spring time is the time to go and see the 1000 Springs. After we swam we went and ate at The Snake River Grill right in Hagerman and it was really good, but a little pricey. It was an awesome Saturday!

We had a great Christmas and Chan was able to get the whole week off which was nice so we could spend a few days with both of our families. It was fun for Hudson's first Christmas and Oaklie told me that we might want to bring a Uhaul down and she wasn't a jokin. He got a overload from both grandmas and grandpas for sure. He wasn't quite sure about all the presents and he would rip one piece of paper and be interested in something else. He got a new rocking horse,books,toys and clothes. We are very grateful for both of our families and the Christams we had to spend with them.

On my second birthday my aunt Eve gave me this Santa toy and it moved and played Jingle Bells. I thought it was the greatest. So my mom kept it through all the years and gave it to me for my kids. I was excited to get it out for Hudson this Christmas but I guess he thought different about it.

This last weekend we had the annual Jensen Family Pictures. I think they turned out so cute; although it was pretty chilly. I don't think we look to cold. Stetson's girlfriend Lyndsi took the family ones and my mom did the rest of them. It was great that we could all get together to do these pictures. As the Thanksgiving holiday is approaching I want to express how thankful I am for my family. I am grateful for all they do for Channing, Hudson and I. And the support they give us each day and also for the great examples they are in our lives. I don't know where I would be without them. I want to let my parents know how much I appreciate them and all they taught me and the big influences they are to me. And to my siblings for their willingness to help with Hudson all the time. My parents came up on Monday on their way to Jackpot to a photography convention and theybrought up Hudson's crib up since we could never fit it in our car. We appreciated it so much! So his first night sleeping in it we went pretty good and he only woke up once(which is really good for him) and the next morning Chan went and go him out and his arm was totally out of his pajamas but all of his buttons were still done up. We wondered how in the heck he managed to do that, but he did. He is the funniest little boy because he sleeps on his knees face done and we try to move him him but he always ends up back in that position. We are grateful for his crib so hopefully no more sleeping with mom and dad.

Hudson has the cutest little warmer outfit of a moose so I just put him in that because I knew it would be warm and everyone thought it was a Halloween outfit, but it wasn't. He looked so cute and got so many compliments on it. We went to the tri ward Trunk or Treat and went through eight bags of candy. There were so many people but it was so fun.

One afternoon we went to the beautiful Shosone Falls not to far from our house. They are really amazing and anyone that comes through Twin Falls should stop and see it. While we were there we saw a international celebrity flaunting her stuff. We didn't catch her name but she was a hottie for sure. Well the view of the falls is awesome and I recommend it to everyone.

It has been a long time since I have last posted something, but we finally got a lap top and the internet at our house. It was a pretty exciting day for sure. We like it here in Twin Falls and the apartment we live and our ward. Channing is really liking the Animal Science program here at CSI and enjoys the classes he has been taking. Channing also works at Home Depot and he works when he is not at school but we are grateful he has a job. I have doing hair out of our home and I also just stay at home with Hudson which is the greatest blessing for me. I am so lucky to have such a hard working husband so I can stay home with my little boy and not have to work. Hudson is growing up so fast I can't believe it. He is nine months now and scooting around everywhere and getting into everything. When it gets really quiet you know he has either pooping his pants or he is getting into something. Oh but I wouldn't trade him for anything in this world. He is such a joy in our lives and keeps us smiling. He is now eating more solid foods and he is a messy little eater but he eats about anything. His favorite would probably have to be his go-yurts. When we feed them to him he gets so excited he can't stop moving his little hands and we have to shovel one after another or he gets up set. We did recently have the Swine Flu in our household and it is not a fun thing. Channing got hit with it pretty hard and had to miss a week of work. Well I thought I was safe from it and we went to my moms for the weekend and then Hudson got it and I felt so bad for the little guy. Then my brother Nels, my sister Oaklie, my brother-in-law Drew who gave Hudson a blessing, my mom was very sick, my sister Hadlee, my cousin Josie and I got it but not that bad. So my dad and my sister K.T. were the lucky ones of the bunch that didn't get it. I am very sorry to all my family that got it from us....just blame it on Chan. They put Hudson and my mom on the Tami-flu which seemed to help a ton. We are grateful for nothing more serious and that we are feeling well now. I have enjoyed our new ward a lot and everyone has been so nice and helpful. Chan and I both have received ward callings I am on the Relief Society board and Chan is the Elders Quorm Temple Coodinator. We are so blessed right now in our lives and couldn't ask for anything better.

We Made It to Twin Falls!

Well I know it has been awhile but inbetween moving home from Philly and moving to Twin it has been kind of crazy. We don't have internet at our apartment yet but hopefully soon. It is so good to be back in Idaho and closer to our families. Channing left a day earlier than me from Philly and I flew out early the next morning. I had to fly to Alanta, Georgia and there I realized my wallet wasn't in my bag. I was freaking out and in the mean time trying to find my next flight that was suppose to board in twenty minutes and not being able to talk to anyone because my phone was broke. I could hear them talking to me but they couldn't hear me. (thank goodness for texting though) Chan was driving through the state of Wyoming and he got a hold of the bank and cancled my cards. So the whole flight to Salt Lake I couldn't stop thinking about anything else but my wallet. And the lady I was sitting by said you will never get it back because people aren't honest. When I finally flew in my father-in-law picked me up which I was glad to see him and very relieved. I got to my parents house and I wanted to check my facebook and I had something in the my inbox and it was from a flight attendant from Delta that found my wallet on the plane going to Montego Bay. She told me to call her and she would send it to me. The biggest weight was lifted off my shoulders and I was so amazed. I am the luckiest person ever! I couldn't thank her enough and the way she wanted me to repay her was that when someone needs help I am suppose to help them out the way she helped me. That made me believe there are honest people in the world today. I got my wallet in the mail last week and I am still stunned I got it back. Anyways, we are in Twin now and Chan was suppose to start school yesterday but I told him that it started today so he missed a whole first day of classes....oops;) Hopefully he will forgive me. We really like our apartment and hopefully we will get more aquainted with people but we are exicited to be here. I gave Hudson a haircut the other night and he looks so cute! I am glad I did it...and dad, he doesn't have a grandpa Eddie combover anymore. I am hoping to get pictures on soon! Chan got a job at Home Depot in the lumber department and he is pretty excited. He is going to be a busy man going to school and working but I am so grateful for him and his hard work ethic. I am going to stay at home with Hudson which I am very lucky to be able to do but between both of Chan's schedules we figured I won't be able to work. But we can't complain, we are just livin the americam dream...... Broke, but happy!!!

Hudson is 6 months!

So I can't believe Hudson is six months and I guess it is a bittersweet moment for me. He is so much fun right now seeing him grow and learn new things. But I do miss him being so little. He is still my happy little boy but when he doesn't like something or if he wants something else he will for sure let me know. We were able to get hime weighed finally and he weighs 16 1/2 lbs and he is 26inches long. I thought he felt a lot heavier than 16lbs but I was wrong. I started him on some cereal finally and he likes it some days but other days he despises it. He hasn't had lots of bottles so instead I have been giving him a sippie cup and he likes that quite a bit. He is also starting to sit up on his own also, but still is a little tipsy. I bet by the end of the month he will have it down. Hudson is such a tease and I love seeing his little personality coming through each day. His favorite things are still waterbottles, the remote, cell phones, anything with a tag on it, his feet, hands, reading stories, and he plays pretty good with his toys. He is growing so fast and I am so grateful I am able to spend every day at home with him. Thanks Chan for working so hard for us and letting me be able to do that. I am excited to see Hudson grow and learn so many more things but it is sad how fast it goes.

So Laurie and Laken came to see us last week and it was so much fun! We did lots of shopping at the outlets and the mall. We also tried out the yummy ice cream places. And we went to Intercourse and Gettysburg one day. In Intercourse we ate at a yummy buffet called the Shady Maple and went and looked at all the Amish shops. Then we went to Gettysburg from there which seemed like a forever drive but it is so worth it in the end to learn about all the history. They also got to experience the Liberty Bell and the famous Philly Cheesesteak. We had so much fun while they were out here and Hudson was spoiled again. He has so many clothes from both of his grandmas that he doesn't know what to do with all of them. We are grateful that both of our families that they were able to make it out to Philly to see us this summer. Chan and I know that it was really Hudson you came out to see but that is okay we were so excited to show you how big he is. We love both of our families so much and appreciate all the support. We are excited to be home in a couple of weeks to spend time with all of you!

We left at 5:45 AM to catch the train in Trenton,NJ and got to New York at 8:30. It was perfect and not to busy yet. We walked around Times Square and went and looked at all the cool shops. There was the coolest Mcdonalds there we ate at and it was so high tech. We went to the Hershey Store and the M&M Store they were both so much fun. Then we walked down to Central Park which was my favorite thing because it was nice to get away from all the hussel and bussel of things. Channing and Hudson found some swings to swing on at one of the nice parks they had there. We were starving so we walked back to Times Square and ate at a Olive Garden where the prices were an arm and leg but it tasted so good. We took the New York subway everywhere because we figured it is cheaper than taking a taxi. There are some interesting things down there and you can see about anything is the scarey thing. We heard that Canal Street had some great shopping but honestly it was so sketchy and I pictured it so different. Well I guess I really didn't care to get anything but it was lame to go there. Our friends that we went with Jamie and Russel Madsen they got a deal on some cute Chanel earrings so that was good. We were so tired when we caught the train home Russ was out too. It was a fun day but Chan and I decided we aren't going to go back for a very long time. It made us realize how grateful we are for Idaho and we are ready to be home. We are not city people that is for sure.

My family comes to Philly!

Well my family came out here a couple of weeks ago and it was so much fun to have them come out! I was so excited and I couldn't wait! So here are a few pictures I have but my mom took most of them so that is why you don't see any of my family in these pictures. I will probably add more later when I get more pictures. Our first adventure was to Washington which was a very long day because the GPS kept leading us through every back road or downtown places of have never heard of. It was very frustrating! I will have to say that I had very bad road rage and started honking at people.(oh no that is the sign I am becoming a eastern driver) We went to the Washington D.C. temple and it was so beautiful. My great aunt Maxine is serving a mission at the temple so it was really good to see her there. Hudson was so good as always and he just sat in his stroller of course with his favorite thing in the world... the water bottle. It is so funny but he goes crazy over them. The neatest thing we saw was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetary. It was quite the chore getting there but it was totally worth it. On the way home it was raining so hard I couldn't see at all and there was so much standing water on the road it was crazy. We all just wanted to get home so bad it was the drive of my life and I think my family could say the same. We went shopping at the outlets the next day for some down time and I hope they got some good deals. My family went to New York, but I didn't go with them because they went to a broadway and they had a family friend give them a better tour of the city then I could of. They had a great time there from all of their crazy stories. On the 4th we went to our ward breakfast that morning and hung out and went to the King of Prussia Mall. We ate at Chilies that night and watched three different firework shows from the steps of Chilies. Nothing to exciting but it was a great day. We woke up early on Sunday morning and went to Gettsburg. That is the most amazing place ever! I think I learned more there in an hour then I did of all four years of High School... sad to say but true. In the gift shop they had some cool hats we had to try on. By the musuem in the nearby fields they had some pretty yellow wild flowers. We also went to the town of Intercorse,PA. It is an Amish town and the coolest place I think. I have been thinking about it a lot and I am going to become Amish, but everyone thinks I couldn't do it. I wish I could prove them wrong. We saw the an amish girl on roller blades which was crazy to us and teenage boys jammin out to music in their buggies. I could of sat there all day and watched the buggies go by. We found a petting zoo that was closed. There was a little horse and the ugliest llama that I have ever seen. Hudson kept looking at it with the wierdest face. My siblings got lots of pool time just about everyday and we would have all sorts of fun competions. It was a very good week and I hope my family had lots of fun! I was so sad to see them go and Hudson was just getting use to them being around. Thanks guys for coming out and spending time with us in Philadephia!

Let the teething begin!

Hudson has begun the teething process and some days are better than others, but he is still a good boy. I got some oregel to help his pain, but he doesn't like the taste to much. He pulls a face like someone put a lemon in his mouth. I feel bad but it is kind of funny at the same time. That stuff is fast acting but doesn't last for very long. He loves to chew on his frozen toys though, so that is very helpful. He is a tough little boy and I know we can make it through these dang old teeth!

The Skipback outing!

On Saturday a bunch of us wives went to the town of Skipback because they were having a little festival so we went to check it out. It was neat little town out in the country. We went and looked at all the vendors and ate lunch at the Fat Cat Cafe. I thought it was pretty good. Well Jacob and Hudson shared the stroller and they were the perfect size, but if they get any bigger there is no way they will both fit. It was really cute and they both just sat in there so good! It was a fun afternoon and it helped the long Saturday go by faster.

I have had to go through all of Hudson's clothes and put away all the 0-3months and get out the 3-6months. It is a bitter sweet moment but I am excited he can start wearing bigger clothes. This is an outfit we got the other day and I thought it was so cute on him and he looked like a BIG BOY!

So you all know we were limited to the stuff we brought out here for the summer because our car was loaded to the MAX! Well, we couldn't bring Hudson's play saucer and I was kind of bummed but of course we managed to get the golf clubs in....haha. (just kidding Chan) Anyways, Josh and Heidi put Jacob's together the other day and we went to over to their house and I put Hudson in it and he fell in love and so excited about everything! And he fit perfect in it, so they were nice enough to let us borrow it until Jacob got a little bigger and we appreciate it so much! He loves it and talks to all the little toys! It is so cute! We love to watch him in it. So thank-you Jacob for sharing your toys with Hudson! And Chan put his hat on him and he is such a cutie in it even with drool running down his face. We try to go to the pool as much as we can inbetween rain storms and before Chan has to go to work. Hudson is getting a lot more comfortable in the pool and he loves swimming with his dad. On Sunday the techs had a bbq and we hung out at the pool it was fun just to relax and the weather was perfect. They had juicy steaks,shrimp, salads and cream pies for us and we appreciated it so much! It was a great afternoon and I am so grateful for the beautiful location we are able live in this summer!

Hudson is getting so big, he just turned four months and I can't believe how fast it has gone. He is such a good boy and I love spending time with him every day. We go for lots of walks on the path and down by the river. He loves to look at all the trees and everything on the path. He has the cutest giggle now too. And in the mornings he loves to spend time with Channing. Chan and I are so grateful for Hudson and the joy he brings to us each day! We love you Hudson!

Washington D.C. Trip

We left early Sunday morning to go to Washington D.C. and it was about a two and half hour drive. When we got there we parked in a sketchy neighborhood( hoping our cars would be there when we got back) and took the metro into the city. That was an experience and it made us kind of sick. We got off at the Smithsonian and went to the the Air and Space Museum which was really neat. Then we went the Capital building and it was so huge! We had to hurry and make it back to the Holacaust Museum before it closed and it was a very long walk, but so worth it. That is so neat and you can get a very good understanding of what those people went through. We then crossed the street over to the Washington Monuement and it was super windy up on that hill. Through the trees we saw The White House and wanted to get a little closer and good thing we went when we did because they close the sidewalk at a certain time each day. Security in this city is very serious and there are no ifs ands or buts about, so if you bring your knife or gun you will have to bury it somewhere and hope it is there when you get back.(A couple of guys that went with us had to do that) Anyways, we then went over to the Lincoln Memorial and Hudson was getting hungry and Chan and I were tired of walking, so we sat on a bench and waited for everyone. Then we headed back to the metro station and passed George Washington Universty which I thought was pretty cool. By the time we got on the Metro we were so tired and hungry we were ready to go home. After a long day of sight seeing our feet hurt but it was so worth it to see our nations capital.

Another Adventure Downtown!

We went downtown to go get the famous Philly Cheese Steak and we found a really good place but Chan wasn't raised on a cattle ranch because he ordered a Chicken Cheese Steak. But it was pretty good to say the least. We also went to Besty Ross's house which was very small and for all you that don't know your American History she was the woman who made the American flag. All the other places we tried to go to were all closed. It was a good day though. Also Hudson has been laying on his stomach more and just props hiself right up. And yes he can drool as displayed by the pictures. He also can roll over and he is starting to scoot on his back if he kicks hard enough. He is a strong little boy!

The first swim of the Summer!

The pool finally opened and I was so excited to take Hudson out and go swimming with him. He didn't know quite what to think at first, but after several coats of spf 60 sunscreen and his new swimming suite we were ready. The pool wasn't the warmest at first but he got use to it and started kicking under the water and loved it. I am excited for him to go swimming with his dad. After we swam for a while and his diaper was waterlogged we got out and he fell right to sleep. By the end of the summer he is going to love to swim and we are both going to be working on our tans so everyone watch out!

Shopping at the King of Prussia Mall

On Saturday a bunch of us wives went shopping at the King of Prussia Mall. It was super busy and when I go I have to wear good walking shoes because it is so huge and my feet are always killing me when we leave! We got all ready to go and Hudson was so excited I know it. He was such a good boy and slept most of the time and looked at all the people. We went and looked around for a couple of hours then went home to take a nap before we had to go and eat late because the office got another dinner goal. Yeah! So that meant another late night out, but it is always fun to go and be with our friends.

Another tech in the office, Josh Wible and his wife Heidi just had a baby six weeks ago. His name is Jacob and he is a cutie. Hudson does't know what to think of his new friend yet, but we always lay them by eachother and it is funny to watch their facial expressions. They are so funny to watch.

The Jersey Shore

After church we drove to Wild Woods, New Jersey to go to the beach. Well, we thought it was going to be a nice day, but it was super windy and a little chilly. It was really neat to see the Atlantic Ocean though, let alone my first ocean ever! Hudson was not to impressed by it though we stuck his tiny feet in the water and he started screaming. He wasn't to fond of the wind either, so when he finally fell asleep we had put a big blanket around his stroller that one of our friends had and also around their little baby's carseat to protect them from the wind. The guys played a big game of football, which Chan loved. I picked up some pretty cool seashells to keep as a momento. There was a big board walk and also some carnival rides, but everything wasn't quite going yet. We are going to go back in another month and hopefully the weather will be a little warmer and not so windy. It was a good afternoon and we were very tired by the end of the day.

Another Sunday Adventure at Independence Hall!

Well on this great Sunday adventure we witnessed some things that we usually wouldn't have back home. It was raining however we decided to make the trek back down to the big city. We went down to see the Liberty Bell, as well as Independence Hall. However when we got down there we found that they were having a huge Homosexual Rally! Seriously I must admit that it was quite the abominable sight. They have people up on a stage giving speaches and everything. It was definately something that we would not care to witness again. However Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell were awesome. We were able to take a tour of Independence Hall which was really interesting. We also got our picture taken in front of the Liberty Bell, It was definately worth the experience. We then came home and Brit and some of the other APX wifes make a really nice dinner.

Downtown Philly!

On one of our big Sunday adventures, "Sunday being our only day off," We headed to downtown Philly to check out some of the sites. We started our big crusade at the Love Park, well there were plenty of kids riding around on their skateboards, until the cops showed up of course, then they scattered like frightened deer. It was actually pretty interesting to watch. While there we were also able to witness a wedding photo shoot. There was a huge company of African American decent pull up in black limos. The men were wearing cream colored tuxedos with gold ties, while the women were all in gold dresses. There were honestly many interesting people in this park as you will see from the pictures. It was fun though, we of course had to get our picture taken under the LOVE sign. We then walked across the street to the Game Park. This is where there were several life sized game pieces. Then were were onto the Rocky steps, Chan of course did not attempt to climb them for fear of a heart attack, so his simply settled for a picture in front of the Rocky statue. It was a very hot day but none the less it was one that we probably won't forget, Hudson was such a good boy but when it was all said and done even he was ready to go home.

It was a very nice warm day here in West Norriton and so Hudson and I went for a walk by the river. I put his new hat on and he looked so cute and of course he had his binky in his mouth too. We made a loop on the trail and Hudson was dead asleep by the end of the walk. I think he really enjoyed it and we will probably be doing that quite often.

Well, while Channing is out installing Hudson and I have a lot of time on our hands. He is getting so big and trying to roll over he is almost there but not quite yet. I give it another week and he will have it. He loves to talk to me and is kind of a mammas boy. His new thing lately is he gets sacred at any loud sound and if someone yells or talks loud. We are still loving it out here and Hudson and I went for another walk today and he doesn't know what to think about the outside. Everytime we go he falls right to sleep. The weather is colder today but I know it will get a lot warmer and humid.

Well, Hudson and I finally made it out to Philadephia safely on Monday April 20th. It was so nice to finally get here. My mom took to the airport and it was so sad to say good-bye. I have seen her everyday for the last three weeks and it will be so much different. Hudson will miss her too. Thanks for letting us stay Mom and Dad and thanks to my brothers and sisters for helping with Hudson. We miss you! The plane ride was good and Hudson was amazing he was so good and slept most of the time. A lot of the people on the flight told me how good he was and they were so amazed he didn't even make a peep. Channing was waiting in the terminal as soon as I got off the plane with a big sign that said "Britney and Hudson." It was so cute and I was so happy to see him. The only trouble we had the whole time flying was one of my bags must of got caught on something when it was coming out of the baggage claim, so when it came out the whole side pocket was ripped out and cords were hanging out of it and I lost my brand new bottles of hairspray and mousse. I was really bummed about it to. (people that know me it was pretty tramatic losing that stuff;) Our new apartment is super nice and big. It has a great view of the Skullyview River which flows into the Delaware River. It has a nice walking trail beside it and Hudson and I have been taking walks on it which is nice and he loves it! Yesterday we went to the King of Prussia Mall which is the biggest mall on the east coast and it has every store you could ever dream of. We only made half way through because my feet hurt from walking and Hudson got hungry. The people out here are very scarey drivers and they honk at you just to honk because you aren't going fast enough. And without a GPS you could end up in who knows where. I don't think I am going to drive out here I will just leave that up to Chan. Channing is working hard and we are enjoying it out here and anyone that wants to come and visit come on out because we have a extra bed. I will keep you updated on our adventures out here in Philly!

While staying in Thatcher, Grandma Jensen of course had to take pictures of Hudson. And I am so glad she did and I appreciate it so much! He is almost three months old and I can't believe how big he is getting. The pictures turned out so cute and he was really photogentic. And we can't believe how red his hair is. It is so fun to start to see him smile and laugh.

Well, Channing made it Philly safely and he said he doesn't want to grant that drive on anyone. I am glad that Hudson and I are flying out on Monday. We have been staying with my parents and it has been so much fun to spend time with them and Hudson loves grandpa and thinks he is pretty funny. I appreciate my parents so much for letting us stay with them!

Our Big Move!

Well, I have finally joined the Blog band wagon. We have been pretty busy these last couple of months with the new arrival of Hudson. He loves the attention of his parents and can't stand not to be held. Recently we have been trying to ween him into his own bed, he has been doing pretty good however he still thinks the only place he can sleep is right between mom and dad.

We have decided to head back east this summer as Channing has taken up a job with Apx Alarm where he will be installing alarm systems. We are heading to Philidelphia and are pretty excited about that. There is a lot of history back there and hopefully we can find the opportunity to visit some of the sights.
